I know, it has been more than a year since my last post, not sure if anyone even looks at my blog anymore... and I have a lot of catching up to do but thought I'd restart my blog by telling everyone that I am pregnant with number 3! Yay! Not sure how far along I am, in fact this was somewhat a surprise, but I'll find out on Monday!

Matt and I were BURGLARIZED!!!

Matt, Taylor, Crew and I were on vacation in San Diego for a week and a half. The day we were to leave San Diego Matt's mom received a call that her mom passed away that morning. So we ended up staying in San Diego and driving with Matt's family to Utah for his grandmother's funeral. We stayed in Utah for a week. Upon getting home late last night, after a 10 hour drive we came home to our back sliding glass door smashed in. Someone broke a huge circle in the middle of the glass door and just walked right through. They stole Matt's pistol, pistol case, ammo, my lap-top, my $200 tv baby monitor, our external hard-drive and our wireless router. It makes me so sick inside just thinking someone entered my house uninvited, walked around looked at our pictures, went through our personal things, Uggghhh!!!! Our house was TRASHED, they went through EVERYTHING! I wish carma on whoever did this! It's a horrible feeling inside when you feel like you are not safe in your own home. Needless to say, Matt and I set up our house alarm so if anyone comes in a loud alarm will sound. We are also getting a dog. Then maybe I can rest a little bit more peace full at night. I will post pics of our house as soon as possible.

My handsome man...

Some Brainstormed Ideas...

Matt and I decided that Taylor really doesn't do much besides toys, friends, and TV, which is fine because she's 2, but we want to start developing her skills and stimulate her. So, we brainstormed some ideas that would help stimulate her and her brain but were fun at the same time. So this is what we have come up with... When she wakes up in the morning I have her help me make breakfast (I want to teach her how to cook), then we do chores around the house... laundry, teaching her how to make her bed, etc. Next she's given three books to go through while listening to classical music. Then she watches a shapes and color movie, followed by playing with blocks. Then it's off to the park for some fun. Then a nap (she still takes 2 hour naps every day, it's great). When she wakes up she does her ABC charts and learning to recognize letters, followed by color charts, then shape charts. Next are flash cards, then toys, then painting and coloring. She is starting swim lessons again too. I wanted to start her in ballet, so I called the ballet academy but they won't teach anyone under 3, so we'll start that next year as well as violen lessons. I am excited to finally have the time now, instead of working full-time, so I can play with her. It is so much fun being a mom!
